WEDDING RECEPTIONS

Wedding Receptions: $750

Berry Rooms 1-3 rental is a flat rate of $750 (full day) and includes our 21’ x 21’ dance floor, tables & chairs and signage in the parking lot. The third floor patio is also available for an additional $50 fee. A $375 non-refundable deposit is required to book/hold the room.

Wright State University Student Rates for Wedding Receptions

Wright State University students receive a discounted rate of $675 for wedding receptions held at the Berry Room (a current WSU student ID is required at time of booking). A $330 non-refundable deposit is required to book/hold the room.

Event Information and Policies

Rental Rates

Please contact Lee Guild at (937) 775-3670 to help you plan your event. Costs include set up, tear down, and cleaning. We use 6 foot oval tables, white linens, and china. Rates do not include audio/visual service and equipment, phones, security guards, risers, or other expenses.

Contract

Prior to the event, a contract will be sent to you. This must be signed and returned to our office with the required deposit before confirmation can be made.

Insurance

Insurance is required for all non-university events. If you do not have insurance, Wright State's Nutter Center will purchase the insurance on your behalf, name Wright State University as additional insured, and a nominal fee will be added to your one-page contract. If your company or organization has insurance, please contact them and ask them to provide a certificate of liability that includes property damage, bodily, and personal injury in the amount of $1,000,000 per incident. This certificate must name Wright State University as an additional insured for the date(s) of the event and should be received at least five days prior to your event.

Food & Beverage

Wright State University's Nutter Center has an exclusive catering contract with Ovations. No food or drink may be brought into the Berry Room. Please visit our Catering page for details.

Alcoholic Beverages

Our policy requires that any event serving alcohol must have security officers present. This service will be handled by the event coordinator and will be charged to the client at $20 per hour, per officer, with a 3 hour minimum.

Getting to the Berry Room

The Berry Room is located immediately North of I-675 and North Fairfield Road (exit 17) at the corner of North Fairfield Road and Colonel Glenn Highway on the third floor of Wright State's Nutter Center. When facing the front entrance of Wright State's Nutter Center, the Berry Room is located on the far right.

Parking

Free parking is available in Lot 1, which is conveniently located on the same level as the Berry Room. Both the parking lot and the Berry Room are accessible to persons with physical disabilities. Please visit our Directions & Parking page for additional details.
