About the Berry Room

The Berry Room is one of greater Dayton's premier banquet and conference room facilities. It is ideal for your next corporate gathering, seminar, banquet, or social event.

The Berry Room offers flexible room configurations - banquet seating for up to 200 and theatre style for up to 400. The 4,800 square feet space can be subdivided into one to three rooms with recessed, movable walls to match your event size. The Berry Room Coordinator will determine if the booking will be charged for a full or half day and the number of rooms required for your event. Rental rates include six foot oval tables and chairs. Rates do not include room set-up, audio/visual services and equipment, signage, security guards, risers, or other expenses. Signage is recommended for banquets, conferences, proms, and evening events (add $80 per agreement).

Event Information and Policies

Contract

Prior to the event, a contract will be sent to you. This must be signed and returned to our office with the required certificate of insurance before confirmation can be made.

Insurance

Insurance is required for all non-university events. Wright State's Nutter Center will purchase the insurance on your behalf, name Wright State University as additional insured, and a nominal fee will be added to your contract. If your company or organization has insurance, please ask them to provide a certificate of liability that includes property damage, bodily, and personal injury in the amount of $1,000,000 per incident. This certificate must name Wright State University as an additional insured for the date(s) of the event and should be received at least five days prior to your event.

Food and Beverage

Wright State University's Nutter Center has an exclusive catering contract with SAVOR. No food or drink may be brought into the Berry Room. Please visit our Catering page for details.

Alcoholic Beverages

Our policy requires that any event serving alcohol must have security officers present. This service will be handled by the event coordinator and will be charged to the client at $20 per hour, per officer, with a 3 hour minimum.

Getting to the Berry Room

The Berry Room is located immediately north of I-675 and North Fairfield Road (exit 17) at the corner of North Fairfield Road and Colonel Glenn Highway on the third floor of Wright State's Nutter Center. When facing the front entrance of Wright State's Nutter Center, the Berry Room is located on the far right.

Parking

Free parking is available in Lot 1, which is conveniently located on the same level as the Berry Room. Both the parking lot and the Berry Room are accessible to persons with physical disabilities. Please visit our Directions and Parking page for additional details.
